About Decorah

As our first show-prospect, Marley can be blamed for our addiction to dog shows. She didn't care much for showing as a youngster, but will make a comeback as a veteran this year at the ACKCSC National. She is now 7 1/2 and still heart-clear!

Beatrice, GRAND CHAMPION KIMARK U AIN'T SEEN NOTHIN' YET, earned her AKC Championship in June 2009 and AKC GCH in June 2010. She was the first whole color girl to achieve this title and was among the first 10 cavaliers overall, earning a special medallion from the AKC. We were very proud of our little ruby girl! Now retired from the show ring, Bea's back to being a tomboy ~ chasing chickens, digging holes and splashing in the swimming pool.

AKC CH SORATA NORDIC HILLS MARILYN, AKA Mara, comes to us from our friend, Joan Pagan, of Sorata Cavaliers in the UK. I fell in love with her on one of my visits and was very excited when Joan told me to take her home. She is a sweet girl and we feel very lucky to have her! She had her first litter in January and will be going back out for her grand championship once she's back in full coat - hopefully this fall!

Kimark Turn It Up at Nordic Hills, Betsy, is our latest showgirl. Our thanks to Kim and Mark Baillie for letting us have this little sweetie. Betsy has had a nice start to her show career, earning a 4 pt. major at 11 months and placing well at her classes at specialties and the National. She is a big daddy's girl, so look for her and her chosen handler, Jason, out and about this summer!

New arrival!
July brought us a little ruby surprise from our friend Joan Pagan in the UK ~ Sorata Nordic Hills Annie! I absolutely love Annie's mum, Sorata Sophie Tucker (CC winner and Top Ruby Bitch in the UK in 2009), so was very excited to be offered my pick from her first litter. We're very grateful to have her and hope she'll grow up to be as beautiful as her mother! Look for her in the ring this winter!
